  1. Do I have to have an undergraduate degree in Business to apply to the MBA?
    • No, an undergraduate degree in any discipline is acceptable. If you do not have course work in economics or accounting, you will be asked to demonstrate proficiency in those areas or take course work in those areas.

  2. What educational requirements are needed to apply to the MBA program?
    • You must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
    • You may be asked to take undergraduate course work or demonstrate competency in accounting and economics

  3. Is work experience required to apply to the MBA program?
    • No, but you are encouraged to indicate and leadership or internship experience that you have on your application if you do not have work experience.

  4. How long does it take to complete the degree?
    • 18 months or four consecutive semesters of enrollment as a full-time graduate student.

  5. How many credit hours are required to be a full-time graduate student?
    • 9 credit hours, typically 3 courses.

  6. What is the length of each class?
    • Most online classes in the MBA program are 8 weeks in duration. If the content, concepts or work required in a course typically requires a longer time for mastery or completion, the course is offered over 16 weeks. The hand-on modular courses that comprise the Lean Emphasis vary in the number of face-to-face meetings required. The number of days required for each course in each module is shown in the curriculum outline found on the website.

  7. What are the admissions requirements for the MBA?
    • You must have completed an undergraduate degree program (any major) from a regionally accredited college or university.
    • You must have course work in or demonstrate proficiency in economics, accounting and statistics.
    • You must take the GRE or GMAT.

      • In order to be considered for admission to the MBA Program without submission of a GRE or GMAT score, you must meet the followingqualifications:
      • Earned a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) undergraduate cumulative GPA or higher
      • Achieved a grade of B or better in at least two college-level quantitative courses (algebra or higher)
      • Have a minimum of 4 years of post-baccalaureate work experience.
  8. What is the admissions process for the MBA?
    • You must submit official transcripts of previous college work.
    • A provisional admissions decision may be made based on your college GPA and coursework.
    • Before a final admissions decision is made, you must take and submit GRE or GMAT scores to Linda McKinley-Grider at griderl@lindsey.edu
